Katie at the Dogs Code has really helped. We rescued a two and a half year old Dachshund, however he had snapped at my daughter several times and we were on the brink of having to return our rescue dog, something we didn't want to do but safety comes first. We were put in contact with Katie and she has been fantastic, very easy to talk to and very good at listening and understanding. She has helped to settle our rescue dog and he is no longer snapping at my daughter who can now enjoy him. Katie has also helped with separation anxiety and lead work. She has work at ours and our dogs level and time and nothing was rushed and everything explained well. We now have a dog we are happy to give a home to who makes us very happy. We are all confident and it's with thanks to the help from Katie at The Dogs Code. Highly recommend.

I have been having IEMT sessions with Katie after the traumatic event of losing my 21 week old Son, Finley. Its a therapy like I've never had before. No personal questions are asked during the session, Katie is a calming presence and shows no judgement (even if I lost my words or got emotional). The therapy is extremely effective, whilst it doesn't remove vital memories, it's does help to remove the overwhelming negative thoughts that get to me, even years after the event. I cannot recommend Katie and the IEMT therapy enough for helping to process any traumatic experience.

Katie from the Dogs Code has been helping us with our dachshund rescue Frankie who came to us with Separation Anxiety. Over the last few months we've been given advice and ideas and games to play with Frankie which are beginning to make a difference. The zoom sessions worked well for us and were friendly and informal and non judgemental. Thanks Katie, I'm sure we can take it from here with the tools you have given us and we'll keep you posted. And we'll be back if we need you again!

We adopted a wonderful wire haired Dacshund but he had some issues settling with us including excessive barking, being anxious all the time and it was difficult to identify what stimulants were causing the issues. He could be difficult on walks and sometimes he could misjudge signals with other dogs. BUT he is gorgeous, loving and gentle and it was only when we met and had our sessions with Katie that we were able to unlock all the positivity! She has a tremendous capacity to listen, distill information and make insightful suggestions and observations. We have never regretted adopting our wonderful dog but at times we were sorely tested by his behaviour. Our time with Katie has enabled us to understand his behaviour and be mush more strategic in how we approach his training. He is just a total delight and I cannot recommend Katie’s skills enough! She has made what could have been a really testing experience into a joyful one!

We don't know where we would have been without Katie, Bev and Bethany at the dogs code - We rescued Dexter just over a year ago and he came with many problems but with their help he is slowly getting through them day by day - everything is online so you can do it from the comfort of your own home where your dog feel safest and the whole community is so supportive - I can not recommend The Dogs Code highly enough

Anyone with a dachshund, I would highly recommend the Dogs Code accelerator course. Before booking, I was intrigued by how we would learn everything online and not in-person but in reality it worked out extremely well for us. Not having the stresses of being in a physical room full of dogs meant our dogs were able to concentrate better on their training. Katie, Beth and the whole team are incredibly patient and understanding and helped us set our goals and achieve them! Our 2 dogs are rescues and had a lot of behavioural issues and at some points we thought that we'd never get them trained up properly, until we did the course. The course was the best decision we could have made for not only our dogs, but ourselves. We are so much more confident with them and know how to read and understand their behaviour better. I'd highly recommend Dogs Code! Thank you so much!

Katie was amazing - knowledgeable, supportive and really responsive. Our rescue dog came with some complex issues and Katie gave us great training support and we’ve already made really great progress - we have a different dog. Katie really understands dogs. It’s this kind of knowledge that makes the training kind but effective. We can’t recommend her enough.

I highly Katie and the team at The Dogs Code. 5 ⭐️ just doesn't seem enough. Katie is a Daschund expert, she is so knowledgeable and understanding about the quirky breed we all know and love. Her expertise have helped Bertie my rescue Daschund and I so much. We're currently taking part in the Daschund Accelerator course, which is brilliant. To take part in the course from the comfort of your own home, with other owners experiencing similar difficulties, guided by Katie and the team is great. It's so interactive, with live sessions, on demand catch up, Facebook support group, booster calls and just so much support. Katie and the team are approachable, reassuring and supportive. There is no judgement at all, just a strong desire by Katie and the team to help us to unlock the gates of communication between us and our beloved Daschunds. You will not regret signing up to a course. I only wish I had done it sooner.

Katie is wonderful and has so much knowledge and wisdom. Our little dachshund lacked confidence and was very hand shy. He is now so much braver!

We were put in touch with Katie after fostering our little miniature smooth dachshund, Minnie Moo. Aged Three. She came to us with IVDD. She hadn’t had the best start to life and had terrible separation anxiety when I would leave the room. She also hadn’t been toilet trained. The first session was brilliant and so much fun. Minnie enjoyed herself especially with all the extra treats. After just one session there was a noticeable improvement. And the more we worked at it the better Minnie responded. Katie has the patience of a saint. She understands how dachshunds think and understands their personality. The training and advice is fantastic and easy to learn and follow. Even after a few more sessions Minnie has started settling down. Her personality has started to emerge and she has loads of it. She makes us laugh and is super affectionate and loving. No surprise we adopted Minnie Moo. After all her hard work It seemed unfair to uproot her. With Katie’s help and training we are positive Minnie is on the right track to becoming a normal dog. (If there is such a thing, dachshunds being normal?)
